Drove to the town of Libby MT this morning. Appears to be centered on winter sports and summer adventure but times seem tough based on the number of shuttered businesses and for sale/lease signs on the main street The town is about 90 miles from Sandpoint and Along the way back we stopped at the Swinging Bridge which is hung about 100feet above the Kootenai River and framed by a 30 foot high water fall upstream. Later, closer to Clark Fork and Spoint we stopped at the Giant Cedars National Park and explored a forest which has some 500+ year old cedar trees. It was very rustic and the trails were well traveled.
